Master of Ceremonies: Jonathan Roth, Ph.D., professor and director of the Burdick Military History Project at San Jose State University

Speakers include:

Tony Powell, expert on African-American military service who will display a small portion of his extensive uniform collection for the period of the Civil War to WW1.

Robert Denison, former board member of the World War One Historical Association, who will speak on “Knights of the Air: Pilots, Fighter Planes, and the Quest for Air Superiority in WW1.”

Dana Lombardy will speak on “An Alternate Version of Gettysburg” and “How to Evaluate a History Book.”

These will be short talks of about 15-40 minutes each with time between to enable attendees to shop.
